Top 3 Holiday Dresses And Styling Tips For Mature Women, On Sale At Nordstrom: & Regular & Plus Size Styling Tips

As the Holiday season approaches, the one question I get asked almost every day is concerning the party/cocktail dress. My answer is the lace trend for this 2018 season is hands down number one!

I looked through pages and pages of dresses for you all to find what I think are the top picks this year at the Nordstrom sale. I chose beautiful dresses at a great discount that I thought might meet some of your Holiday needs while the sale is still going, and hopefully in time for you before everything is gone!

I chose these dresses not only because of the lace but because all of them are figure flattering styles for women of any age or body type. The sheath style dress is universally flattering and is always a classic that never goes out of style. I also chose them for the classic to the knee length, or just below the knee length that shows only the best parts of a woman’s leg. These are the most flattering lengths for any woman. Sometime after menopause, our knees can begin to look older and give away our age. And, last but not least, as you all have heard me say many times before the prettiest part of any woman’s body is her shoulders and collarbone area. This area never sags and is always flattering in my opinion!

Remember, the longer the length of the dress the higher the heel should be. I recommend a three-inch heel and up if you are able. If not, it should be a pointy toe shoe, because a pointy toe shoe makes your legs look longer, and it is also a more formal look. A nude shoe is always leg lengthening. I have shown below three regular size choices and three plus size choices. I hope this helps answer your questions.

God Bless!
