The Always On-trend Collared Button-Up Shirt for Mature Women

Happy Friday fashionistas! When styling your basic button-up shirt with jeans, try adding a scarf & bold statement earrings. I think a nice collared button-up shirt is a great building piece in your wardrobe. Start with a white one first then add every color that you love in this style shirt. A print or stripe in this type of shirt is a fashionable look. This shirt is appropriate from casual to formal. It works with just about anything! Remember Sharon Stone super chic look on the Emmy’s years ago wearing a crisp white shirt tied at the waist with a formal black maxi skirt.

The button-up shirt can be layered under or over other things you already own. Also, it can be styled to be tucked in or just a half tuck in the front. It also looks great tied at the waist or just left out and long like a tunic top. Then you might even try adding a belt when its left untucked.

This style shirt can stand alone or be paired with a blazer, pullover sweater, or cardigan. You can even try layering two of these shirts together in different colors for a fun look. I have also used this shirt layered and open, like a jacket over a tank, cami, tee, or turtleneck. The possibilities are endless, just use your imagination.  They come at many different price points so on any budget you can find what they need. I have linked some Black Friday on sale shirts below for your convenience.  I just purchased 4 new colors from the sale at the Banana Republic yesterday, just remember to size up one size from them as I find their sizing to run a bit small on me.  Have a blessed weekend!
