Happy weekend friends! We had almost perfect weather today, so my wonderful hubby and I went off for the day to Big Bear for a fabulous hamburger at our favorite place. Today’s outfit was all about this adorable coral top with 3 on-trend details off the shoulder, ruffles, and bright pastel color which was on sale at Nordstrom. This top also comes in a pretty floral as well as the one I chose. I want to give a big shout out to the amazing sales associate at Nordstrom who helped me find this top. Ashley, thank you for your help that day you are just so sweet! I will be back with you on my next shopping trip.
I paired this cute on-trend shoulder-baring top with some high waisted skinny jeans and used a scarf as my belt just to add some fun. I love to use scarfs, necklaces, or something else a little outside the box as belts. Don’t be afraid to use something for a purpose other than it was meant for. Once, I even used a chain shoulder strap from a handbag for my belt. I also chose to accessorize with some large gold statement earrings, but without a necklace because the top of the blouse had some pretty detail that I thought took the place of a necklace. I then added some nude rockstud heels.
All in all, it was a wonderful day. My hubby had just turned 60 yesterday so we used today to go out and celebrate. I’m so glad he took my photo outside the restaurant before we ate…..LOL……. because the amazing hamburger dripped onto the front of my blouse. I guess I needed more than a napkin on my lap. LOL…..I too will be 60 soon and may need to think about a bib……LOL. Thank you for coming over to share in some fashion tips. Nordstrom has 23 pages of adorable off the shoulder tops on sale right now. I love this trend because it’s one that everyone can wear; the young, old, and no matter what size or body type you are if you have two shoulders this for you! I do not wear tank tops anymore as my arms are not what they used to be at 59 years bold. I do like showing my shoulders though because they don’t sag! This trend is just getting stronger and I don’t see it leaving anytime soon, so enjoy it while it’s here friends!
